My name is Brooke Halliday and I am honored to be the Kindergarten Teacher at Mackay Community Childcare and Kindergarten. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, I firmly believe that children should be active participants in their learning journeys. I strive to deliver a holistic, high-quality program that engages and caters to the varied developmental needs of each child. I take great joy in crafting stimulating learning experiences and dynamic play areas that ignite curiosity. I love designing spaces that invite children to explore an array of resources, including loose parts and other materials. Excursions into the local community and nature are a favorite part of my approach, allowing children to connect with their surroundings and gain real-life experiences that enrich their learning. My passion lies in preparing children for school in a manner that nurtures their academic, social, and emotional growth.
